Introduction

As of today, and for several years, English has been the lingua franca, meaning it is both the universal and preferred language in terms of education, trading, research, science, and of many other fields that are relevant and core to all social strata worldwide. Hence, the importance and necessity of well-trained and well-educated English teachers (as a mother tongue or either as a foreign language or second language) and sound and state-of-the-art curricula that respond to the real and current needs of our era.

The current blog works as a teaching portfolio that gives account of my online practicum as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher for the BA in Teaching English Program at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, a public university based in Colombia and in the state of Florida (U.S.A.), but which offers good-quality online education to everyone worlwide.

The teaching portfolio is organized as follows. First, you are going to find some pieces of information about me as an EFL teacher. Second, you are going to find data about my learners. Third, you are going to find artefacts supporting evidence. Finally, you are going to find a conclusio. Enjoy yourselves!
